Privacy Notice

Zen Vitality Partners FZ-LLC, based in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, is the data controller for information collected through Ask Mr Z.

Everything below is collected because MR Z’s coaching directly depends on it — nothing is collected speculatively:

• Profile data — name, email, age, gender, weight, body fat %, dietary preferences, and anything you choose to share (nicknames, passions, personal goals).
• Posture photos — used to generate algorithmic posture feedback and track changes over time via computer-vision models. The photo itself is processed and then discarded — we don’t store the raw image, only the feedback it produces.
• Body composition scans and photo estimates — used to track body fat, lean mass, and related metrics. As with posture photos, the image itself is processed and then discarded — only the extracted numbers are stored.
• Workout and training data — sets, reps, weights, mobility calibrations, and secondary goals you set.
• Nutrition data — meals you log, recipes you prepare or favourite, and macro targets.
• Chat messages — text, voice, and photos/video you send MR Z, used to generate coaching responses and, where relevant to a live session, real-time feedback.
• Payment status — your subscription tier and billing state, via Stripe. We never receive or store your card details.

We process your data on the basis of your explicit consent, given at signup and, separately, before any sensitive, special category data (posture photos, body composition scans/estimates) is first collected — see Section 5 below. You can withdraw consent at any time; doing so may mean some or all of MR Z’s features become unavailable to you.

We use a small number of trusted third-party service providers to deliver Ask Mr Z — for example, to host our secure cloud infrastructure, process our automated AI coaching models, manage payments, and send account-related emails. We never sell your data to third parties, and none of our providers are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Cross-border transfer: some of these infrastructure providers process and store data on secure servers located outside the UAE. By using MR Z and accepting this notice, you consent to that cross-border transfer.

Posture photos, biometric inputs, and body composition scans are classified as sensitive personal data under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). Before you upload either for the first time, MR Z asks for your specific, separate in-app consent — accepting this Notice generally is not treated as consent for biometric processing. You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us; withdrawing stops future collection but does not retroactively delete text logs already generated from past uploads unless you request full account deletion.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from your Profile page, we permanently delete your data — profile, metrics, logs, chat history, and everything else tied to your account — from our systems.

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or export your personal data, restrict its processing, or object to automated profiling at any time. Contact us at contact@askmrz.io and we will respond within the required statutory timeframe. Deleting your own account from your Profile page is the fastest way to exercise your right to erasure — it takes effect immediately.

If we make a material change to what we collect or how we use it, we’ll ask you to accept the updated notice again before you can keep using MR Z.
